These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JobLander Chrome Extension and related services (the "Service").

The Service is operated by Vladislav Sorokin, acting as an independent sole trader registered in Portugal ("we", "us", or "our").

By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Status

JobLander is provided as a prepaid, pay-as-you-go service. You pay only for the minutes you actually use, at the price published in your dashboard.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, or be discontinued at any time.

We make no guarantees regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose.

Individual sessions may be subject to duration limits imposed by our infrastructure. You will receive an in-app notification before a session ends. We recommend saving any important notes before the session expires.

2. Intended Use

The Service provides real-time and practice-based AI assistance related to interviews, communication, and similar scenarios.

The Service is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, or other advice. You remain solely responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from your use of the Service.

3. Accounts

You may be required to sign in using a third-party account (such as Google).

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service;
• use the Service in a way that imposes unreasonable load or constitutes abuse.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All software, content, and materials provided as part of the Service are owned by the Service operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal purposes only.

6. User-Generated Content

By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce anonymized and aggregated content generated during your sessions (such as interview questions and AI-generated hints) for the purposes of product demonstration, marketing, and service improvement.

Content displayed publicly is always stripped of personally identifiable information. No names, email addresses, or employer details are included.

If you believe any publicly displayed content can be attributed to you, contact us at hello@joblander.app and we will promptly remove it.

7. Payments and Credits

Usage of the Service is measured in minutes. Minutes are sold in packs and prepaid in US dollars at the prices shown in your dashboard at the time of purchase (currently 100 minutes for $10, 300 minutes for $27 and 1,000 minutes for $80, i.e. from $0.08 per minute). We may change the prices of future purchases at any time; minutes you have already purchased are not affected.

Minutes are deducted from your balance for every minute of live interview assistance and for every minute of a practice session with the AI coach, at the same rate. If the extension is running during a practice session, both meters run and each minute is charged twice.

Every account receives 40 free minutes. Free minutes have no monetary value, are not refundable or exchangeable, and the amount may be changed by us at any time. Purchased minutes are never reduced by us and do not expire.

Purchased minutes are a digital service that is provided immediately after payment. By purchasing, you agree to the immediate provision of the service and acknowledge that minutes which have been consumed are not refundable.

Unused purchased minutes are refundable on request via support at hello@joblander.app within 14 days of the purchase; the same applies to minutes lost due to a technical failure on our side, counted from the day of the failure.

8. Support

Support is provided on a best-effort basis.

We do not guarantee response times, availability, or resolution of issues.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

You use the Service at your own risk.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service operator from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and applicable international law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If material changes are made, you may be required to review and accept the updated Terms to continue using the Service.

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
