Terms & Conditions (Free Beta)

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the JobLander Chrome Extension and related services (the "Service").
The Service is operated by Vladislav Sorokin, acting as an independent sole trader registered in Portugal ("we", "us", or "our").
By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Status (Free Beta)
JobLander is currently provided as a free, experimental beta service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Features may change, break, or be discontinued at any time.
We make no guarantees regarding availability, reliability, accuracy, or suitability for any particular purpose.
2. Intended Use
The Service provides real-time and practice-based AI assistance related to interviews, communication, and similar scenarios.
The Service is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, or other advice. You remain solely responsible for any decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from your use of the Service.
3. Accounts
You may be required to sign in using a third-party account (such as Google).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service;
- use the Service in a way that imposes unreasonable load or constitutes abuse.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
5. Intellectual Property
All software, content, and materials provided as part of the Service are owned by the Service operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal purposes only.
6. Payments and Credits
The Service is currently provided free of charge during the beta period.
Any previously purchased credits or minutes are frozen during the free beta period and will not be consumed while the Service is free.
If paid features are introduced again in the future, users may be required to review and accept updated Terms and Conditions before any previously purchased credits can be used.
We make no guarantees that paid features will be reintroduced.
7. Support
Support is provided on a best-effort basis during the beta period.
We do not guarantee response times, availability, or resolution of issues.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.
You use the Service at your own risk.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Service operator from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal and applicable international law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If material changes are made, you may be required to review and accept the updated Terms to continue using the Service.
Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
