How minutes are counted
Every account receives 40 free minutes.
One minute of live help during a real interview costs one minute.
A practice session with the AI coach costs one minute of balance per minute — the same rate as live help. If you run the extension during practice, both meters run and the minute costs double.

Purchased minutes never expire and are never reduced by us.
Free minutes have no monetary value, are not refundable, and the amount may change.
Unused purchased minutes are refundable within 14 days of purchase — email hello@joblander.app.
Questions
When are minutes consumed?
During a real interview, one minute of balance for every minute the session runs. A practice session with the AI coach costs one minute per minute at the same rate, charged when the session ends; with the extension running during practice, both meters run and the minute costs double. Any part of a minute counts as a whole minute. Reading transcripts, debriefs and My Stories is free.
Do minutes expire?
Purchased minutes do not expire. Free minutes have no expiry date either, but their amount is not guaranteed and may change.
What happens when my balance reaches zero?
A new session will not start. A practice session that is already running finishes normally; a live interview session ends after a warning. Top up on your dashboard and continue.
How do I get a refund?
Write to hello@joblander.app within 14 days of the purchase. Unused purchased minutes are refunded; minutes that have already been used are not.
Why is JobLander no longer free?
The Google Cloud credits that covered the beta are ending, and the project now has to pay for itself. Charging for usage is the honest way to keep it running for everyone.
